You will learn the basics of painting a landscape in acrylic, what types of acrylics are best, what to paint on and what brushes to use for the type of acrylic paintings you wish to create. You will create a small landscape painting while learning the many ways to achieve the look of clouds, trees, grasses, water, etc.
Many people start their painting exploration with acrylic because it is such an easy paint to use but get frustrated with the medium when they aren't sure how to use it. In this workshop you will learn about the benefits of acrylic as well as how to deal with its limitations. You will learn about colour mixing with a palette knife and brush technique, as well as when to use water and when not to use it.
