LEARN TO ADD INTERESTING TEXTURE TO CREATE INTRIGUING ABSTRACT PAINTINGS IN WATERCOLOUR

 

You will be led through the creative process of putting watercolour onto this slick, non-porous surface to create an amazing abstract work of art. This workshop needs to be two days due to the fact that the evaporation process must occur naturally.  Objects will also be placed within the medium to create interesting texture and design where the water pools around them. The next day you will learn about this forgiving surface and remove parts of your painting and then further add gouache and iridescent pigment to create your final abstract design. In this 2 day course you will produce 2-4 paintings.

Tammy: Yes, this class is for beginners. It's a very fun way to be exposed to watercolour as it will encourage you to be brave with the medium. You'll splash large pools of colour around and be amazed at the blending of colour and creation of pattern. I have had beginners completely enjoy themselves at this workshop.
