COLOUR MIXING 101 WAS WHAT YOU LEARNED IN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL, THIS IS THE NEXT STEP

In Elementary school you learned that yellow and blue make green, yellow and red make orange and red and blue make purple but what about all the other colours? And why is it that red and blue sometimes make brown. Well these questions get answered in this workshop. There is so much to learn about colour. I think this course could actually be an 8 week course but I will attempt to help you understand it simply in this one day workshop. But I hope it will just be the beginning of your own colour exploration. 

I will supply the paint so that we are all working with the same palette. You will learn to work with a full spectrum palette to be able to create all the colours. You will learn about pigment and blended pigments. You will learn to colour match. 

We will be doing colour exercises on watercolour paper that I will supply. If you could just bring a one 1/2” flat synthetic brush I will provide most of the paint. Bring whatever watercolours you have. That will be all you need for this workshop.
