Tammy is a popular art instructor having taught classes for 20 years at the Port Moody Art Centre. She is now happy to have a studio space in Port Coquitlam to continue to offer private and semi-private art instruction.
I met Tammy many years ago taking one of her watercolours classes in Port Moody. I enjoyed how she taught then and many years later I am still taking classes with her now learning about abstract art.
I’ve had numerous teachers over the years but I have to honestly say Tammy is the most comfortable teacher I’ve been taught by. She’s so relaxed in any style she teaches plus she’s genuine in her love of the arts and really listens to her students.
You can be a beginner in her class or someone who’s been doing art for years and Tammy treats you both with respect. She is always eager to help you and in some cases learn from you too. I’d highly recommend Tammy to anyone who wants to learn to paint.
